You can now define your own shells for pods processing (previously only bc was available). Here are some example scripts to allow you to render povray images over pods.

Pods is a P2P network, but more generalised than existing ones like Freenet and gnutella. read more

If you're interested in testing pods you'll have to check out the code from CVS. Instructions can be found here.
Alternatively, you can try out the SF CVS snapshot, which you can get here.

Have a look at the TODO list in the latest release.
If you're a windows kinda person, porting would be handy! The code should port fairly cleanly since libcommonc++ is used for most stuff.
